General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the Rental of Vehicles with Chauffeur at CarLuxEvent
1 Scope of Application
(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the rental of vehicles with chauffeur concluded between Global Connect Point (CarLuxEvent) and the consumer.
(2) The renter acknowledges the validity of these GTC by signing the rental agreement or accepting the service.
2 Subject Matter of the Contract
(1) The provider rents the renter a Rolls Royce vehicle along with a chauffeur (vehicle and chauffeur collectively referred to as the “rental object”).
(2) The renter agrees to use the rental object only for the agreed purpose and within the agreed rental period.
3 Rental Period and Reservation
(1) The rental period begins on the day of use and ends on the day of use, unless the parties agree on a different duration.
(2) The rental period can be extended by mutual written agreement.
4 Rental Price and Payment
(1) The rental price for the vehicle with chauffeur is fixed and is set for one day. The exact amount of the rental price will be communicated individually between the provider and the renter.
(2) The rental price depends on various factors, particularly the country of origin of the consumer. The price is calculated differently depending on the country the renter comes from.
(3) The exact amount of the rental price will be communicated to the renter before the contract is concluded and will be based on the specific requirements and circumstances of the rental period.
(4) The rental price must be paid in full no later than 24 hours before the rental period begins, or in cash on-site.
(5) No deposit is required, as a chauffeur will be provided.
5 Insurance Coverage
(1) The rental object is covered by comprehensive liability and collision insurance.
(2) The liability insurance covers damages to third parties caused by the operation of the vehicle.
(3) The renter is liable for damages to the rental object caused by gross negligence, improper use, or violations of traffic regulations.
(4) The renter will cover the costs of a deductible in the event of damage as per § 3. This deductible will be communicated to the renter in advance.
6 Cancellation and Return
(1) The renter may cancel the contract free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. In case of a later cancellation, a cancellation fee of 5% of the rental price will apply.
(2) In the event of a no-show or failure to pick up the rental object, the full rental price may be charged.
(3) In the case of early return of the rental object, there is no entitlement to a refund of the rental price.
